DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Guangzhou
Arrive in Guangzhou and settle gently into your hotel, giving yourself time to adjust and ease into the city’s rhythm.
Meet in the hotel lobby and transfer to dinner and enjoy a warm welcome dinner. A comfortable ride returns you to your hotel to rest for the days ahead.
Day 2: Cantonese Culture & Crafts
Visit the exquisite Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, followed by a walk through Liwan Old Street to experience classic Cantonese neighborhood.
Taste authentic Cantonese dim sum and explore the cultural alleys of Yongqing Fang, where you’ll join an ancient incense plaque–making workshop.
Enjoy a relaxing Pearl River Night Cruise with beautiful views of Canton Tower.
Day 3: Dali’s Temples & Pagodas
Take a flight to Dali, Yunnan Province. Settle in and prepare for an afternoon of exploration.
Visit the Chongsheng Temple and the Three Pagodas, one of Dali’s most iconic cultural and historical landmarks. Continue with a scenic tour of the Dali Ecological Corridor S-Bend, enjoying the area’s beautiful natural landscapes.
In the evening, enjoy a special Dali Banquet, savoring the region’s unique flavors and warm hospitality.
Day 4: Tea Horse Road & Temple
After breakfast, head to the Fengyangyi Tea Horse Ancient Road to explore its rich history and scenic trails. Enjoy a traditional Dali Caravan-style meal for lunch, experiencing flavors inspired by the ancient trading route.
Visit the serene Wuwei Temple, nestled in the hidden landscapes of Cangshan Mountain, offering a peaceful and spiritual retreat.
Enjoy a campfire BBQ and the lively Bai ethnic Bonfire Dance, a festive evening of music, rhythm, and hospitality.
Day 5: Ancient Towns & Cultures
Explore the cultural heritage of Xizhou Ancient Town, then visit Zhoucheng Village to experience the traditional Bai tie-dyeing craft. Enjoy lunch featuring Dali’s local specialties.
Travel to Lijiang and visit a century-old Naxi house to learn about Dongba culture, followed by the lively Balé dance.

Day 6: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Ride the Glacier Park Grand Cableway to the heights of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Take in the alpine scenery, watch the Impression Lijiang performance, and visit the turquoise waters of Blue Moon Valley.
Visit Yuhu Village and the former residence of Joseph Rock, the explorer and botanist who helped introduce the region to the world.
Enjoy a private dinner at a countryside villa in Yuhu, featuring local specialties in a quiet village setting.
Day 7: Guilin’s City Landmarks
Flight to Guilin, a city long celebrated for its breathtaking karst landscapes.
Visit the landmark Elephant Trunk Hill, then admire the Sun and Moon Towers reflected over the lake.
Transfer to Yangshuo and soak in the lively charm of West Street, with its colorful lights, riverside cafes, and night market energy.
Day 8: Li River Rafting
Take a bamboo raft along the most beautiful section of the Li River, arriving at Xingping Ancient Town.
Enjoy a cooking class to learn how to cook some classic Chinese dishes.
Be wowed by the Impression Liu Sanjie show — a spectacular open-air performance staged on the river, with light, music, and the surrounding mountains as the backdrop.
Day 9: Longji Rice Terraces
Spend the day exploring the Longji Rice Terraces, hiking through layered fields and enjoying panoramic views.
Visit Dazhai Village, home to the Zhuang and Yao minorities, and learn about their architecture, clothing, and farming traditions.
Transfer to train station for fast train to Guangzhou.
Day 10: Modern Guangzhou
Discover Guangzhou’s modern side with visits to the Guangzhou Opera House (designed by Zaha Hadid), Flower City Square, and the Tianhe CBD.
In the afternoon, leisurely stroll on Shamian Island, known for its leafy boulevards and European-style buildings.
Conclude the day with a memorable farewell dinner.
Day 11: Fond Farewells
Bid farewell to China as our team arranges transportation to the airport for your return home, taking with you the tranquility, beauty, and memorable encounters of your journey through Southern China.
Option to extend your stay in Guangzhou, or its nearby metropolitan like Shenzhen, to explore more of its unique attractions and hidden gems at your own pace.
